Anastasia Patterson grew up hunting and fishing with her dad before she could even walk. From a young age being in the outdoors was in her blood, it became her passion… a way of life. She started fishing local tournaments with her dad and family friends around middle school and was hooked. When she was in high school, she remembers a man telling her that she would never be able to fish professionally as a woman. In a world where she saw very few people who looked like her, she saw herself. In fact, it became her dream to be able to become competitive at the professional level. In college she became one of the founding members of the Bass Fishing Team at Presbyterian College. After graduating, Anastasia began to focus on fishing in the FLW and still fishes MLF tournaments. She plans to continue chasing her dream to get to the next level in both BASSMASTER and Major League Fishing events. Anastasia also will continue fishing local, team, and national tournament trails Lord willing.
Head up, hammer down.
