Carl Jocumsen

Carl’s passion for fishing came at a very early age from his upbringing in Toowoomba, Queensland Australia. After finding bass tournaments at 14 years old, he competed in Australia for over 10 years where he won multiple ABT events and the televised AFC TV series. During that time he won three AOY titles along with Australia’s biggest tournament, The Grand Final Championship.

After realizing his dreams in Australia, Carl saved up and made the move to the USA in 2010 with the dream of competing in the Bassmaster Elite Series. After a grueling learning curve over the first four years, Carl made history and became the first ever Australian to qualify in the top 100 anglers in the world on the Bassmaster Elite Series.

With many top 10s and appearances on Bassmaster Live over the past four years, Carl’s big break came in 2019 when he won his first Elite Series Event on Lake Tenkiller in Cookston, Oklahoma and took home the coveted Blue Trophy.

Carl has amazing support from family, friends, sponsors and fans alike and is currently competing on the 2022 Bassmaster Elite Series.
