Chad Morgenthaler

Chad Morgenthaler was a firefighter for 13 years before becoming a professional angler. During this time he was captain and arson investigator, handling the accelerant detection K-9 unit.In his Top 150 rookie season he double qualified for the Bassmaster Classic. Since then, he has qualified for 7 Bassmaster Classics, 6 Toyota Texas Bass Classics and 1 FLW Cup.Chad has competed on both professional tours — B.A.S.S. & FLW. His favorite lakes are in Florida which is where he secured his personal best, 13-lb, 7-oz largemouth. Chad is very diversified. He prefers power fishing in shallow water with heavy vegetation using heavy tackle, but also enjoys spending time fishing depths of greater than 50 feet on his home lake of Table Rock in Missouri.
